Service Description

This group is intended for instructors and approved experienced handlers who want dedicated time to train and work their own dogs alongside other advanced teams. Unlike our regular classes, this is not a traditionally instructed class. Think of it as structured group training time: we’ll set up exercises, courses and training problems, help each other troubleshoot, and take advantage of having other experienced handlers and dogs available for distractions and training opportunities—but everyone is expected to be capable of working their own dog independently. Training may include: • AKC Rally Advanced, Excellent and Master-level skills and courses • Competition Obedience • Tracking • Scent Work • Advanced proofing, distractions and ring preparation • Individual training goals and problem solving Dogs must have earned a Rally Advanced (RA) title or demonstrate equivalent or higher-level training. Handler experience is equally important—participants should be comfortable developing and executing their own training plans without continuous instruction. This group is primarily intended for Follow My Lead instructors. Other experienced handlers may participate with prior approval. INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO SIGN-UP. This group runs October through April and is $100 per month. PLEASE NOTE: Registration will show $0 at checkout. The class is not free—payment is simply not collected through the signup system. Monthly $100 invoices will be emailed separately.
